This Cinnamon Espresso Smoothie is definitely one of my favourite smoothies included in the book, probably because it celebrates two of my favourite ingredients → cinnamon and caffeine!

It’s a perfect start in the morning and I can assure that it will keep you fully loaded for hours.

Not a fan of coffee? You can easily avoid the espresso shot and maybe add couple of dates to compensate for the coffee.

Cinnamon Espresso Smoothie

Yield 3 glasses

Ingredients

  • 3 medium bananas, frozen
  • 2 medium bananas, fresh
  • 4 tbsp. quick oats
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 2/3 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1 espresso shots
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups water 

Instructions

1. Transfer all ingredients into your blender and blend on high speed until smooth.

2. Add more water if you prefer a thinner texture.

3. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve cold.
